OCTOBER 2009

SHADES MOVES TO NEW PREMISES IN CHALONG, PHUKET

We’re excited to announce that we have now moved to our new premises in
Kwang Road, Chalong (CLICK HERE FOR A LOCATION MAP).

When all the finishing work has been completed the new facilities, we believe, will help us elevate the quality of our product closer to what we strive for – world class in every way.
Every aspect of our business will benefit from the move…..

• Design room – up-graded facilities for our design team
• Fabric loft – 360 square metres of purpose-built fabric work area, including sunken fabric welding machine
• Stainless steel – dedicated dust-free work area for stainless steel fabrication and finishing
• Carbon steel – dedicated workshop and new tooling including MIG welding
• Sand blast shop – now we start with absolute “bare metal” in our state of the art painting process
• Paint shop
• Pre-fabricating area – our emphasis is to reduce or eliminate welding, cutting and grinding on site, for quicker and cleaner installations
• Product and materials display – indoor and (eventually) outdoor display areas for our range of materials and product

SHADES (Thailand) Co., Ltd wins IFAI 2008 International Achievement Award

(Roseville, Minn. – Sept. 24, 2009) – Shades (Thailand) Co., Ltd, Phuket, Thailand, was recognized with the 2009 International Achievement Award (IAA) presented by the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) for its exceptional specialty fabric project.
